I mean, can we really blame the poor Austrians? FPÖ candidates may sing Nazi songs and occasionally say that the Nazis weren't so bad - and that they had some good ideas - but they rarely wear brown uniforms. How can the Austrians know for sure?

Do not worry, about a quarter of Austrian voters stubbornly claim ignorance and pretend the FPÖ are not Nazi-friendly as well. 😉

I suspect that the FPÖ might not agree with that particular interpretation of 1938.
