Yeah, this is me but with smaller punk releases from local bands I saw at shows when I was at uni. Some just disappeared from the face of the earth.

Shout out to Plexamp as well. One of the most useful things my home server does is run Plex which can stream my entire home music library to me anywhere with Internet access. My own personal music streaming library.

As much as they have their slip ups, they’ll always hold a place in my heart as people who ported piles of Windows games to Mac for a small but keen audience.

Fingers crossed. I’d trust them to spin up safety stuff here more than I’d trust Twitter to bring back stuff they’ve dismantled 🫠

I’d love more robust features here though. People whose posts break containment here have no way to mute replies or limit the audience that can reply. Of course it’s a “yet to be implemented” rather than “taking it away for some reason” but yeah

I had to fix the knobs on my audio interface recently after they because disgustingly melty and sticky. Initially I ordered some new aliexpress knobs, but then someone suggested rubbing alcohol on them and that worked a treat. Still, I won’t buy rubberised shit again. It always reverts to gross.

It’s all up to the subreddits you choose to follow. The ‘popular’ feed is full of utter rubbish but I’ve found really useful and interesting discussions by joining subreddits related to topics I’m keenly interested in.

I’m in the process of doing this, though it’s with a coded from scratch website that I’m learning as I go along so I’m not sure how much advice I could give. I think it’s well and truly worthwhile though! I use RSS for a lot of my news, and I think it would be great to sub to a person that way.

The remake is not really a remake in the traditional sense. It does a LOT of playing with your expectations knowing how the story went in the original. It feels like a remake in the way that Rebuild was to Evangelion, kinda. Highly recommend playing the PS original in any case. It’s so good.
