Lassana Diarra: Fifa transfer rules break EU law - top court rules
After a long-running dispute between ex-Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Lassana Diarra and Fifa, a court has ruled against the governing body.
I spoke to a couple of people about this, and get the feeling that FIFA feels 'protected' by parts of the decision. I do not share their optimism, as the door has now been unlocked. The opening may not be that wide yet, but plenty will push at the pane.
