Have you read anything by Samuel Delany
I think the second book in the three body problem is worth reading but the third one lost its way. Also I think the Broken Earth trilogy by N K Jemisin is amazing
I presume you have read the Three Body Problem. Also anything by Ian Banks or Peter Hamilton
