When I was seven I walked into a mobile library van (we didn’t have a fixed library in our area) and picked up Wizard of Earthsea. It was mind-blowing and completely charged a life of reading. What a book. Thanks for the list!

I only read it aged around 40, and it changed mine then. She’s such an incredible writer
