The main story has Slaine revisit the different scars on his body, remembering battles gone by. Each memory is drawn by a classic artist from his past. Sadly artist Massimo Belardinelli had passed away a few years early - so Langley pays tribute to him by switching from photo reference to THIS:

As the comic flashes back to the past, Langley changes his photoreference style to an insanely detailed and scratchy art style which looks like Massimo Belardinelli’s early work on Slaine

Memory 1 is Slaine trying to rescue a fair maiden from a burning wicker man, unaware she *wants* to be burned alive and he’s actually getting in her way. This is all still Langley! I didn’t know he could switch styles so dramatically!

Slaine breaks into the headpiece of a wicker man which is on fire, trying to rescue a woman who is locked inside it
Slaine WARP SPASMS - he can channel the power of the Earth into his body, which makes him hulk out, sort of. His body completely twists and freaks out and he becomes insanely strong and violent
