Beat the COCOON boss this afternoon on the train ride home and after five or six unsuccessful tries last night. Absolutely adoring this game.

Playing MGS: PEACE WALKER on the PSP has been such a nice reminder for me of just how much I love portable/handheld gaming.

Me, a year ago: I’ve never played any of the MGS games, the Master Collection seems like a fun way to try. Me, 6 mo ago: there’s no release date on vol 2, so it’s reasonable that I’m pulling out a dusty old PS3 to play mgs4. I’m only playing the mainline releases, after all Me, now:

Ah I love that album. Time for another listen I think.

Great ensemble cast, strong period production values, and a lot of genre/tone fluidity from romance and comedy to straight up horror and political thriller.

If you’re interested in trying out a Kdrama and were a fan of STRANGER THINGS, I highly recommend Netflix’s GYEONGSONG CREATURE.
