i think, after the PBs case going so badly, people wouldve been very eager to turn against GLP if they asked for money to fund any more trans cases, honestly. the right accuses trans people of "institutional capture", but as with most right-wing accusations, it's projection

The judgment in that case was notably cowardly, I thought (disclaimer: not a legal expert). IIRC the judge leaned heavily on Cass and indicated that she thought the courts shouldn’t get involved. Whilst Atkins technically acted lawfully, personally I think it was clearly ministerial overreach.
