Abandoning a platform for another one is difficult. It's like moving to a new house and going to a new school. All your friends, all the things you did, it's in some other place now. And reconnecting with them, and finding new friends, isn't easy. But sometimes a fresh start is a good thing.
So in a moment of weakness I bought Diablo 4 a few weeks ago when it was on sale. Leveled a Necro through a season. Campaign was fun. Initial loop was engaging. Tried other classes but got bored. That was about it. Spoiled myself on expansion plot. Glad I saved my money.
Alien Isolation is getting a sequel, YES! But let's not pretend that the first game is a perfect masterpiece. The Alien AI had lots of problems and the pacing of the game was very rough in parts. Mods have smoothed out some elements but the sequel has a lot to work with.
Pretty average State of Play and definitely still no reason to take the PS5 Pro seriously but I was still happy to see more content coming for Astro Bot, Stellar Blade, and Alan Wake. Some fun reveals too! One day Bloodborne will come back from the milk run, I'm sure of it!
I trust no Switch 2 rumors. I'm definitely on Team Fake.
And yes I know about Astros Playroom. It's great, but why not just pack in Astro Bot?
I'm not saying the PS5 Pro won't be a good graphic upgrade. But for 700 dollars it feels very basic. No disc drive, no stand, same basic design, same expensive controller with drift issues, no pack in game, etc. It's a premium price for a non premium experience.
