once i figure out how to streamline the process of rendering semirealistic skin like this i am going to make some of the most disgusting body horror comics of all time

this swatch took something like 45 steps across 20 layers to produce lol. but the good news is that it is a recreation of a swatch that took over 60 steps to produce, so i am making progress.
