As a Hellenic Pagan, Hadestown means absolutely everything to me. It gives me all the feels, and Papa Hades, Mama Persephone and Uncle Hermes often take the form of Their OBC musical counterparts to chat with me in dreams. I also love it because it's a modern day version of the Mysteries.

We can only guess at what was revealed during the Eleusinian mysteries Mysteries since none of the initiates ever broke their oath, but whatever it was, it gave them hope for a better life, in this one and the next. Hadestown does this too.

I have loved this since the concept album first came out. Just stellar all around since day 1
