It just became too hateful. Not good for the mental health so no longer wanted to be involved

I’ve had an account for about 9 months and sort of forgot it was here. Was sick of seeing horrible stuff on Twitter and then saw a few teachers saying they were on here. It feels nicer here. Also there are no adverts!

For me it was just timing - middle of hols - someone mentioned bluesky in passing so just had a gander. Did hope it was a permanent move though & think it will be for edu stuff

Elon Musk started to use his platform to claim an imminent civil war in Uk. He was openly destabilising our democratically elected Government & stoking trouble during the riots. Personally I could no longer justify giving him the clicks.
