also, shark's eyes aren't actually on the front of their heads, so there isn't much useful reference for weird angles. i've had to invent a whole visual language for Finn over the years we've been making MBFIAS. just random shit i don't normally talk about, but somebody might find it interesting.
an abnormally large portion of my job is deciding how to draw a shark in bizarre poses -- sitting in a dentist's chair, laying in a bathtub, hoisting a piano over his head. i'm not mad about it.
