A24 was able to accept the terms of the guild so the bigger studios have no excuse. I never understood how the industry could be run by people who have such contempt for their artists.

These are people who won(paid for) their seats by making money. They don't know how to do anything other than that, so it's going to be hard to make them think of more than more money for them/ shareholders. This is a repeating problem over -everything- so I hope something happens here.
