And here I thought I was being sensible by trying to teach myself on small pieces. I also realized a bit too late that you really need both hands to piece curves and my favorite machine is a hand crank. I did not set myself up for success lol. I'll try again someday, and probably piece by hand.

I'm not Jewish but know the heartbreak of being in religious community wrestling with difficult situations and watching people you know and trust decide to do what they know (they must know) is the wrong thing. I'm sorry you're going through this.
