I'm ready for it, and I wish that there were more — even competing schools of thought on it. It's pretty clear to me that John Wick works best as something semi-mythological or fantasy.

I've had a hard time getting my GF to watch the first one due to the dog-killing scene. I know a few people who have that issue. But I think that just limiting it to the Greek gods doesn't quite cover what's happening there. There's a reason John is the Baba Yaga, after all.
