saw some pundit say harris was "good on trans issues" and just like... how? what has she been advocating beyond "we gotta stop the republicans from doing the bigoted stuff"?

as a trans woman in a red state i would like a single democrat to tell me what the party's plan for me is besides telling me i should move or i deserve whatever i get.

there's never any promise of a better future for us, it's all just reactive policy because advocating for proactive change is too "risky." our rights are too controversial for american politics

She doesn't even really seem to care much about STOPPING the republicans! Where's her plans to use the federal government's strength to override state level bullshit? It seems like her plans are just looking at us getting killed, whistling, and going 'yeeeeesh...' before walking away.
