There’s your black hole! Minister confirms UK has paid £24 billion for Brexit divorce bill. The damage & cost of Brexit will continue to get worse unless the government do more, much more to prevent it. www.thelondoneconomic.com/politics/how...
The reported £22 billion 'black hole' in Britain's finances is dwarfed by the actual cost of Brexit - and the figure is set to rise further.
Except it isn’t, the £24bn has already been paid, the black hole is in the day to day finances. Both are terrible costs, entirely down to the tories, but conflating them only serves as cover for the tories. One isn’t responsible for the other, instead it’s a £46bn+ cost of a Tory government
No words 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Why isn't our government presenting the true numbers and calculations for Brexit and how much we are not getting Adding it up Demanding independence Fact I am extremely concerned and despaired Disillusioned End #Unabhängigkeit
so, what's the answer. "rejoin" is impossible now. what are the pragmatic things the UK can do, both practically and politically, that can begin to repair this?
All, guess what? All together now "PROJECT FEAR". I'm beginning to think the Leave campaign may have fibbed. 😱 www.google.com/search?clien...
I’m in that photo too!
Yes and good old taxpayer has to shoulder the shit this has caused.
What a waste - at least when we paid into the EU we got something back - now we get nothing other than growing bureaucracy, red tape, tariffs and restrictions
I recall at the time of Brexit they said the divorce bill would be £44 billion. I wonder if they have managed to negotiate it down, or if there is an ongoing cost (eg pensions or whatever)?
