My late MIL gave money to every GOP mailer, valid or scam, before her sons realized she was cognitively declining. She ended up with us & 7 years after her death, we’re STILL getting that shit in her name. I’ve tried everything to stop it & it has cut down, but neverending 🤷‍♀️

Many, many thanks to those who helped with advice & support with recent parrot situation. Mutuals provided invaluable resources to help getting bird to vet. Bird is currently being kept comfortable at vet, looks horrible, waiting on opinion from A&M tomorrow when they review tests. ❤️

The mildest thing he’s ever said to me is repeating “no puedo” while holding direct eye contact. I caught shade from a bird 💀 Seriously, talking about him today has made me realize how much I enjoy his obnoxious & smart self as well as being such a good companion for my relative!

lol sorry, I realize I was writing kind of stream-of-consciousness & not clearly! The bird hates women, especially if they have painted nails! He bitches, he mocks, he curses in Spanish & will do a jump scare at you if he’s really cranky. I give his enclosure a wide berth but he makes his point!
