DOS2 is a far, far better game because its not saddled by an honestly not that great TTRPG system. It's goofy and fun and doesn't feel imo very poorly balanced. Compared to say, nwn1/2, bg3 encounter balance feels so off and i dont know why, and thats just 3(.5)E vs 5E. let alone different systems

DOS2 is poorly balanced but in a fun way. There are plenty of broken abilities, but it does not have the tediousness of DND combat. There is also not working around rests and spell slots, it just gives you gloves of teleporting in the first town.
