i think sometimes it is hard to feel softness when you can never turn off the hardness. giving myself permission to relax when my wife hugs is me... surprisingly hard. that permission to let go and have her gentleness come in. we all have our own barriers to it
yeah, i just.. finding spaces where i can even feel that softness has been a challenge in the past few years not impossible, but hard, and not enough.
