Has anyone had experience of asking for acknowledgements or dedications to be updated after a book is already out? Eg you made a mistake or missed people etc Obvs can't fix published editions but could fix then going forward

Man, blurbs are so hard to write. If I were trying to convince a friend to read this book I'd say something like "the characters are demented and the story refuses to spoonfeed you" but this is absolutely not something you could slap on the side of a novel
when I tell people not to eat Mexican food in the UK, this sort of thing is why. brits simply cannot be trusted with this cuisine
