Yes, I bought that marble necklace - I love how its patina and shape has changed from being in the ocean. So you like that kind of lime green colour?

Well that looks amazing! Wish I’d known about it when I was visiting Halifax last week but somewhere I will go next time!

This Asheville mega thread on Reddit is extremely informative (go back to previous day’s too) if you are trying to find out the status of loved ones’ areas & can’t get in touch: www.reddit.com/r/asheville/...

Thinking about Western North Carolina. 💔 Any updates on Weaverville? I’m hearing lots of downed trees, no power or cell service & flooding. Devastating & worrying.

What I bought/learned/saw on my last day in Nova Scotia: all the Peace by Chocolate chocolates, Giant Bluefin Tuna’s caught around Antigonish (such a cute town!), the view at Cape George Lighthouse is 🙌🏻, ran into a Newfoundlander picking apples & now want her Crackerberry bag!

Really enjoyed walking around the Fortress of Louisbourg & learning more about its history. Visited the Heritage Cemetery, which is beautiful & quiet. Whenever I visit older cemeteries I think about the people buried there. I hope they are at peace in their final resting place. 💕

Went back twice to Sea Glass Archaeology in Sydney because I wanted to buy myself something special to remember my trip by and because I just loved the shop & Mike’s beach-combing stories of the history of his finds.

Tri-coloured toothpaste swirl cat’s eye marble circa 1940-1950 necklace and lots of sea glass in a bag gifted to me by Mike at Sea Glass Archaeology.
