It will be wonderful when we can get back to yelling at Liz Cheney how she's wrong about nearly everything. That said, I hope mutual respect between Dems and the handful of conservatives who stepped up to save democracy endures--they earned it, unlike 90% of their former co-ideologues.

These ppl have put up with years of unending death threats (and if they're women, rape threats) and personal promises of vengeance from the all-powerful cult leader of the Republican Party. I have LOTS of problems w/ many of them but I'm going to respect them even as I tell them they're damn wrong.
