My selfconfidence has taken some damage from getting rejected from most conventions this year (we only got into ONE comic festival) which sucks because I would have loved to show people new stuff i've worked on. But it is what it is!
Might give up on social media, but I know i'll never let go of art. Even if the internet goes to flames fueled with AI generated shit and misinformation, i'll still keep creating!!
Maybe i'll manage to move to other platform, but i'm still hesistant about posting my art anywhere. My trust-issues have grown worse thanks to AI and it's loser users. I also get major anxiety whenever my art gets reposted so.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I miss how the internet used to be. I miss the community I managed to surround myself with. I miss people. I've isolated from basically everyone, gone full hermit mode. It sucks. But everything is just.. too much.
I've been drawing a lot though, been working on commissions and my first commissioned comic! I worked really hard on it. I'm planning to make one more zine before I start focusing all my energy on finishing my first album for a publisher. Big things..
