A majority of Scots (56%) believe the new Labour government in Westminster has failed relative to their expectations. This includes 44% of those who voted for the party in the recent general election.
SNP deputy leader Kate Forbes emerges as the most popular political leader in Scotland. Her NET favourability of -10, just shades John Swinney and Anas Sarwar at -11% and -13% respectively. Rishi Sunak -49, Alex Salmond -47 and Nigel Farage -42 are the most unpopular party leaders.
New polling! 10 years after the 2014 Scottish Independence Referendum, our polling finds that, despite the fall in electoral support for the SNP, support for Independence in Scotland has not waned since then. 46% would vote for Independence, while 54% would vote against, if held today.
