Thank you, Michael Jay. (Or just Michael?) She and her partner moved away some years ago, but for many years she was an integral part of dyke community for me. Gruff and butch and warm, offering to work the cash box at an event, someone I always enjoyed at a party. Loyal. Oblivious. Beloved.
