I'm really enjoying Lord of the Rings. A bit waffly in places but so far season 2 has been really enjoyable #lordofrings
So bored of the non-story of Starmer's freebies! He has broken no law. Just for the record if I'm offered £5000 worth of dresses and a personal stylist I'm accepting it!
I don't care what colour your skin is, or your religion. I do not stand with these thugs on our streets and they do not speak for me, or the majority of the country.
Very true.
The Lords have just given the Sunak-led Tories enough rope. The deportation to Rwanda will make Brexit look competent by comparison. What a shameful day for Britain’s credibility as a global standard bearer for human rights.
Sunak has managed to get his Rwanda bill through. One of the things with the bill is that it declares Rwanda safe, but if they ever physically get to send anyone there. What if it turns out it's not safe? Saying something doesn't make it truth, do we not have a duty of care to those we send there?
This whole thing makes me feel sick. Sunak has long since forgotten these are people and not just some information on a paper, election winning device.
So excited to see my old hometown finally voting the right way. I was worried, given the town had a slightly higher leave vote count for Brexit than country average, and had been considered a Conservative safe seat, that Reform might get a foothold there. Was so pleased to wake up to the result
So pleased about the wellingborough by-election result! I may not live there anymore, but I grew up there. Conservatives were once seen as a safe seat. Not anymore! Let's hope that this is just the start for Labour, and reflection on how general election will go! #laboursupporter
