Sunday art share! Show me how your ideas start and how they go towards the finish. including the ugly stage!
So beautiful! 😍
Great idea for a share, thank you! A few steps in a private commission piece: thumbnail sketch, drawing, colour sketch, and then full render
Thanks for hosting this art share! Love seeing people's process. Mine includes a quick sketch, usually in a little sketchbook. Then I expand on it with a slightly more detailed sketch, mostly concerned about composition and finding forms. Then I move on to line art, and then the final product!
Here's sketch to final of my process. I try to put most of it in the comment under my post, I really like seeing the process of people, digital or trad. Find it very helpful !
If you could get more into the process in between 3 and 4 Id love to learn about it.
Love your process, it’s super clear! I tend to be more straightforward with client work, but on my own art I often let it go on a journey before finding its direction! First phases are just to understand the composition and idea, then I work on separating the values and changing my mind constantly 😂
I've shared the same steps, but let me post here too ehe ^^ The steps and over all ideas for my "Dino church" artwork :D Unfortunately, the Blander wip I've lost on my computer pastes ;o;
