Castration can be seen osteologically, affecting size (length/width ratio) and epiphyseal fusion, but I believe only when it occurs before or during puberty/sexual maturity, not later. So maybe something like that with HRT too, timing would matter for detectability.

Yea, I happened to catch this the night it aired and agree with that summary! Like, it could have been better, could have been worse but to some extent the writing was worse than archaeological faux pas.
