This seems obvious to me. In 2016, Trump’s anti-Latino bias was at the forefront. But in 20 and 24, his anti-Black bigotry has been front and center. For centuries, non-African immigrants have assimilated, i.e., become “white,” by shitting on Blacks. I see this in my own immigrant family.
