Sure. The settlements are illegal, immoral, and a clear roadblock to peace. Bashar al-Assad murdered about half a million of his own people in a civil war, many with chemical weapons, nobody cared about. Half a million starved to death in the Yemeni civil war. So then why the disproportion?

When the West talks about Israel, it’s not really talking about Israel, it’s talking about itself. Israel is just a means for the West, particularly the progressive left, to tell itself a story about the great arc of history bending towards justice to be finally realised in the destruction of Israel
The Tories are caught in a vicious circle. The worse the polls get, the more they panic and plot; the more they panic and plot, the worse they look to the public, and the more the public wants them out; each time compounded by seemingly unending crises, by-elections, etc.
