I went back with the second piece of ID, I’m now his “agent”. I was seriously f’d off that the WINZ person behaved like he did. Most people don’t behave like he did. We don’t need a POA at this time but thank you.

Just been to WINZ. They wouldn’t deal with me because I’m not my son’s agent but they also wouldn’t deal with my son because he’s obviously intellectually disabled and I just want it to make sense. They also wouldn’t make me his agent as I didn’t have the foresight to take 2 pieces ID in with us. 🤬

I will never get over the behaviour of airlines in 2020 who were using other people’s money to stay afloat in the first place (fully paid non refundable airfares up to 11 months in advance) by refusing to refund flights that were never going ahead for years and offering credit instead.

Constantly surprised people pay their rent/mortgage/bills before spending it on unnecessary stuff. I remain unsure why it’s my job to keep their business afloat.
