Pretty sure the planet has seen plenty of bad storms without humanity being there. You know... between 5 ice ages and 5 hot house states... but whatever... humanity has an obsession with making itself the center of the universe.

The thing is though, she still does not accept the explanation as she insists there is some kind of machine and it is apparently operated by one small set of politicians rather than accepting the aggregate action of almost everyone on the planet, but especially big corporations. Quite a difference.
