since we're (i think) having a big bump in new people i would just like to put out a periodic reminder that this place doesn't work like twitter and if your timeline seems barren it's probably because you arent following enough people. don't stress about who, just follow broadly and prune later on

If anything, my Skyline is nothing but you despite following influencers that got codes WAY before I did. >:|

The one issue with this is when people use Blockenheimer to block every follower of a problematic account, which doesn't make sense to me. Why punish someone for who they follow? Like I was even accidentally following some people with the same names as Twitter follows because I used Sky Follower.

newb here and I use Bluesky on desktop a lot. Is there a setting I'm missing to hover the mouse over a profile to follow someone? Or do I have to open their profile in new tab to follow?

I just really wish the skeet would show if I'm already following that account or not. Constantly having to click through to their profile to double check becomes too tedious and means I end up missing out on accounts I don't already follow.
