There was about a month there where Kamala Harris gave the orders to react to the Republicans like normal people might and she shot up in the polls and had an incredible bounce, and at some point the same losers who've dominated the Democrats my whole life wormed back in with their bad ideas.
There are structural forces which prevent Democrats from enacting broad, good policy. Okay, sure. But Biden or Harris could shape the Gaza/Lebanon assault at will, and still the Dems maintain helplessness. Which makes you wonder—if they're misrepresenting their agency here, what about the rest?
