She was unique, maybe even a product of her time, put her foot on her mouth often but she always cared in her own way. She gave me a good start in life in many ways. So, thank you mother, now you can finally organise all that fabric you collected for a rainy day. Your son 🖤

She was hot headed, stubborn, she would get caught up on the stupidest things. She was great for an afternoon visit, maybe not a week. I've moved more furniture for her than I would if I started a removal firm and watched her turn t-shirt scrap into textile masterpieces.
