I'm at the age where grandparents are kicking the bucket and their fancy dishes get to be passed around the family. No one in my generation wanted them, and all their kids already had all the fancy dishes they wanted.

Shout out to the awesome woman at the optometrist who, when I asked if she could adjust my glasses 15 mins before closing, said, "Yeah, but not until after I replace those pads with extra thick ones cuz you have bruises, honey..."
