A photo of two compact early 90’s Macintosh computers next to each other on my black shelf. On the left is a Macintosh SE/30, and on the right is a Macintosh Classic. Further to the right you can see the side ports on a propped-up white iBook G3, and the edge of an iMac G4 LCD.

The SE/30 is new to my collection. Logic board is in REMARKABLE shape. No battery damage, and only a couple of leaky caps. It powered on to the simasimac pattern, but I’ve got replacement caps on the way for the logic and analog boards, and hopefully that’s enough to get it to boot! […]
