How hard would it be to make all of those filters client-side? Then people can pop in their own, you can get a whole hacker culture around custom filters and really be the platform that can service every niche.

Yeah, in most cases the labels just get attached to the content and the clients choose how to render based on app-level policy. Should be possible to shim in your own label feed and go from there. We're still hammering out these interfaces
