FER is a tiny word that does some heavy lifting! Lou Hevly's site lists hundreds of expressions using it. visca.com/apac/dites/c... Then there's the mystery of why it has an "E" when all its neighbours have an "A": Far(occ), Faire(fr), Hacer(es), Fazer(pt), Fare(it)...
