Right now its biggest flaw is while you can collect all the knockoff Pokemon TCG cards, you can't actually use them to play any real TCG. But that's a planned feature, alongside adding knockoff Yu-Gi-Oh & Magic the Gathering cards. TCG Shop Sim has the same praise I have of Hydroneer where it's a genuinely enjoyable game even if you don't sink your teeth into automation or optimization. It lets *you* decide when you're sick of the repetition and want to start automating & optimizing. Played 12 straight hours of TCG Card Shop Simulator. I was hesitant since it looked awfully similar to Supermarket Sim (which is AI slop) but it looks like they just got unlucky using the same assets and made a really similar game.
