Activision Blizzard and Microsoft continued the lay offs todays, laying off a majority of the esports team. There's about 12 people left on the esports team now. Microsoft waited till the CDL staff came back from Boston Major this past weekend before informing them.
1st post from Scott Parkin: Johanna becoming @Blizzard Ent President is a ray of hope at least, we will finally have a leader which acknowledges Call of Duty Esports as a product of Blizzard. 2nd post from Scott Parkin: Urgent meeting scheduled for 9:30am on my day off. Godspeed all. 3rd post from Scott Parkin: They did it, they actually did it. They let us work with that over our heads and laid us off on our first day off. The lack of common decency is a joke.
