use 35X the amount of fuel, and are constantly on. Multiple ovens, at different temps, because the ovens can't be adjusted. People go wow over them on house websites, while owners are ripping them out all over the UK.
The constantly on bit seems to be why they were great for houses that didn’t have real heating
