Most men don't expect to pay a lot of money for grooming, while women are told from puberty that they must do certain amounts to be acceptable in public
Exactly. The joke I remember from college: Why do women wear makeup and perfume? Because they're ugly and they smell bad.
Women get told to do it, but I also truly believe men have no idea how much it costs women.
