Important new today in one of Pennsylvania's biggest counties: Local officials rolled out PA's first 'mobile election van.' It'll go around to help people register to vote, & correct ballot errors. That last one is especially important, we explained why when we previewed the proposal
This swing state rejects thousands of mail ballots a year over minor errors. Montgomery County is creating a mobile unit for voters to cure their ballot where they live.
Does it also hand out ice cream? Because a combination ice cream and voter registration truck is a great idea!
The truck should play, “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” as it travels through the neighborhood, volume 11

I saw it today and had a brief chat with the people running it. Super cool idea!
Cure those ballots!
I'm still waiting for Bloomberg and/or other billionaires to pay what it takes for voters getting proper proof of citizenship in order to meet GOP-enacted voter ID laws. I suppose it's too late, but if a schmuck like me can think of this, why can't the Democratic Party come up with a plan?
By continuing to maintain a presence on Twitter you're supporting an anti-First Amendment Nazi who gets to decide what stories are allowed to be posted on his social media site. Your remaining there, when other news organizations have been censored, makes you complicit. Do the right thing. Leave.
Genuinely disappointed it's not an actual ice cream truck... "Thank you for registering, here's your Fudgesicle." The US needs to adopt the Aussie tradition of the Democracy Snag - cheap sausages on bread sold at polling places, as a fundraiser thing.
