Roughly 100,000 Nebraskans had their votes blocked or thrown into question in July by two GOP officials. That's > 5% of the state's potential electorate. The state supreme court this week said they can vote. A big story that now needs more attention: boltsmag.org/nebraska-vot...
Nebraska’s supreme court reversed state officials’ abrupt attempt to impose a lifetime ban on voting for people with felony convictions. But the registration deadline is just days away.
As we see, the Democrats are on the ball... getting the corruption corrected and getting the votes out....THEY(MAGATs )are not going to fuck this election up....WE are ready and very highly motivated....the Voters SHALL BE HEARD.....
Super great having gratuitously induced voting chaos after voting has already begun. I've seen this movie before.
Nebraska is a shithole i guess.
Good work, Nebraska!
I could’ve sworn the US constitution says any citizen 18 or older is entitled to vote.
Holy shit
Republicans have relied on voter suppression for decades. I’m only glad Dems have really stepped up the fight against it.
I don't say it needs more attention in the sense that it's now resolved & you should read about it. I say that because there are just days left for voting rights groups to get the word out (when they'd planned months of outreach), and in some ways the harm is already done.
Republicans have to cheat to win.
