Cara stands and fights the Time Mage's champion (an empty suit of armor) to keep Simon safe, and has just won when the Mage opens a portal. "Feisty. I think I have the perfect Hell for you." Cara tells Simon "Finish the ward!" and charges, forcing the Mage back. The portal closes behind them.
Didi runs, making one chase her and get lost. Alissa finds the perfect set of stairs to kick one down. But that means they're both away from the main fight.
