No, only the author. Also you don't see like notifications when someone likes what you RTd. Reply notifications are sent to everyone I think 4 levels up in the thread, so if you start a thread and some people argue 20 levels down and you don't take part in that, you aren't notified.
BlueSky has a lot of echo chamber folks who left Twitter when Elon took over, and the only thing they remember is Elon Bad. Sometimes Elon is bad. But to anyone who's paid attention to the NC tragedy, this isn't one of those times.

Alternatively, and perhaps even better would be a "planned obsolescence tax". The shorter your product's lifespan, the greater the tax. You could even combine the two together, and use these taxes to subsidize companies creating long-lasting products.
