One of the things I enjoy most these days is the weekly new episode of Warren Ellis' The Department of Midnight - a wonderfully fun, spooky, witty and clever series of audio-dramas that every fan of the WEIRD should love. youtu.be/tOiWSSI90sk?...

I was very happy to meet DQIII-producer Masaaki Hayasaki and living legend Yuji Horii: This man's works are an absolute gift to video games and meeting him again, however briefly, was already reason enough to make the trip to gamescom this year.
Yesterday, Goodfeel's Mameda no Bakeru was released simply as #Bakeru#NintendoSwitch eShops. It´s a kind-of, sort-of spiritual successor to the Goemon games and has tons of charm, even if the performance is a bit chuggy at times. Make sure to give the demo a try!
Well, what can I say? I thank all the people who voted actual democratic parties in Sachsen and Thüringen. And those godamn fucknuts who voted for BSW and the Afd-Nazis: Go and fuck yourselves. Hard.
Holy cow, @M2_game really knocked it out of the park when they remade #HauntedCastle#CastlevaniaDominusCollection. I had a blast finishing this game for the first time. And I´ll be sure to come back to it in the future!!
Donald Duck is funnier and better than Mickey Mouse - anybody disagree? No? Good. So all of you head over to @retronauts.bsky.social@stuartgipp.bsky.social@dark1x.bsky.socialretronauts.com/article/2288...
#GermanDevDays 2024 are over - and it was awesome! I met a ton of great people again or for the first time, listened to great talks, played fantastic games... Thanks again for everyboy involved in making this happen!
Also: They also are some of the nicest, friendliest, most welcoming people in the industry. I had great, long talks, was given amazing opportunities to try out new games long before they were finished and always felt more then welcome in their office! Let's celebrate M2 today!
On August 8. 2024, M2 has a big anniversary: the company was founded 33 years ago. Since then, they not only became synonymous with more than perfect ports of classic Arcade— and console games, they also made fantastic original titles and great mini— and Micro—consoles!
